Aiyara
teaches Thai language (written and spoken) to non-Thai
students from beginner level through to advanced studies (Ministry of
Education's Grade Six exam). The school is conveniently located
just 50 metres from Thong-Lo Skytrain station (25/9 Soi Sukhumvit 55,
Klongton Nua, Wattana, Bangkok) but also offers tuition at home or in
the office. We cater for both individuals and groups and in the
first six months of operation the school taught students from Japan,
Britain, America, Canada, Denmark, Holland, Australia, South Korea,
China, and Hong Kong.
The teaching staff are all qualified to instruct students in the
subtleties of the Thai language. The emphasis is on informality
and on bringing the student as quickly and easily as possible to a level
where they can communicate readily in every day situations with their
Thai hosts. The school’s resident principal is Ms Busayarin
Thiamsing who has more than ten years experience in teaching Thai to
non-Thai students. The total number of permanent teachers
currently employed by the school is five, and the school can accommodate
a maximum of more than 20 students at any one time.
The school operates from Monday to Saturday between the hours of 9:00 am and 9:00 pm. Students are encouraged to choose the hours per day and days per week that suit their personal schedule. Group teaching is also available but most students elect for one-on-one tuition in order to proceed at the pace that they feel most comfortable with.
